WHY PURAcrete
PROBLEMS AND OPPORTUNITIES
In the production of in-situ concrete elements and prefabricated parts in fair-faced concrete quality, the required surface quality is determined by the respective fair-faced concrete class defined in the performance description. In order to further illustrate the desired result, a sampling can be carried out (also obligatory depending on the class), which is used as a comparison after completion of the concreting.
If the required surface quality could not be achieved, there may be deductions in the remuneration of the service. Therefore, either a so-called concrete cosmetic is carried out for improvement, or it must be broken off and concreted again.
PROCESS RELIABILITY FOR EXPOSED CONCRETE
This problem points out the high potential of PURAcrete products. When using PURAcrete, a pore-free surface can be produced, which is by definition a prerequisite not only for exposed concrete applications, but also for many chemically stressed concrete components. Thus, not only optical characteristics are improved, but also a longer durability of the concrete is achieved.
